Friday.  I was alarmed by a buzz on my mobile phone. I immediately got the phone but was too timid to pick up. It was our music head, kuya larry. The time was 630am and the sun was already peeking through the sleeves of our curtain trying to explore the entirety of the room. I can still feel the chill coming from the a/c which I thought was making me stay in bed rather than waking up. But I decided it was time to get up because it will be a busy day once again. It was leadership conference day and there’s too much things to be done. After all it’s a great morning especially reading a message texted the night before coming from someone I was expecting.

After doing the morning routine, I headed on to church and started picking up the instruments that will be needed on the said conference. We were chosen to be the musicians for the day and we need the instruments to be transported to the venue, aziziyah. Usually conferences, seminars, and a lot of activities were held in this place. Located near the beach, it is considered to be the place where some Filipinos gather and socialize amidst the security and strict policies of the kingdom. Of course rules are still followed and nothing is violated. It is the time for unwinding. But for us, this is the time when we explore deeper of our fellowship with Him.

To continue, it was around 810am when we started to drove off to the place. Of course another bonding moment with my dslr so I placed it at the back of the car safe and sound and told myself it sure is going to be another busy day for me and the cam. Upon reaching aziziyah, we immediately unpacked the instruments and set it up in front of the medium type bungalow room which can house 50-70 people. There were already around 30 people in the room when we arrived. The lights were composed of bulbs which added to the dramatic and coziness of the room. The curtains were made of thick garments braided with gold-like thread forming shapes of flowers which glittered when touched by the tungsten light. In front were sofas arrayed together which made me think of going back to my 7 hours sleep but didn’t entertained it long rather focus on the preparation. We were almost finished on the setup when they started. One more thing missing, our lead guitarist was not yet prepared. It was so because of his relentless effort to help build up on preparing the rest of the musician’s things that he forgot to prepare his. The introduction were made by the the singer and things are getting tense on his(lead guitarist) part for he has to prepare his 5 guitar effects looped together fixed in a hard plastic attaché case-like. It was a wonderful set of songs and everybody were blessed, to God be the glory.

After, the musicians moved in another room so we can hang out there for the time being. So during this time, we had nothing to do except this.

And while doing this I was formatting a laptop for a friend. It was very tiring doing these stunts but mind you, it kept us awake for the entire day. Hehehe. Also went outside the building and found these.

Though I wasn’t able to go outside as in outside the gate, I was quite satisfied with the series I shot. Next week we will try to go another round at aziziyah but this time on the beach itself with the camels.

So we finished around 5pm and again packed up all the instruments and headed back to rakah. It was a victorious fellowship so the leaders of our church bought some food. After the chicken dinner we moved to the other building and another set of food are waiting for us. It was actually a pre-food birthday party by Samuel and her mom cooked for us thai noodles which I found very delicious. I told you guys eating here is a pastime. Then with my nikond200, I shot as many peeps I can get. And here are some of the shots.

  1. astig pare ng kung-fu ewan… anong settings mo sa camera mo…

  2. shutter: 1/100
    aperture: f4.5
    iso: 1600
no flash – kasi magkaron ng shadow sa walls. kaya no flash.

tinaasan ko ung iso kasi ung available light lang is fluorescent at madilim sya para sa 1/100 na shutter speed. maganda yan pre under the sen kahit taasan mo ung shutter mo hanggang 1/1250 tapos iso mo is 200 lang maganda at less noise. yung sa akin mataas ung noise kasi nga 1600 ang iso. try mo. hehehe

  3. What a fun-filled Friday:) It is especially evident dun sa mga action photos mo, may drama pa talaga hehehe:)
